Governor Yahaya Bello declared as the best performing Governor

After a long assessment tour of the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello in Kogi State, the Nigeria Guild of Investigative Journalists, NGIJ, has concluded.
The long assessment tour focused mainly on the achievements, programs and projects of the All Progressive Congress (APC) led administration.

In a statement made available in Abuja by the President of the NGIJ, Mr. Wale Abydeen, acording to the 2019 democracy and governace successment report carried out by investigating journalist rated Governor Yahaya Bello HIGH in the delivery of Democracy dividence in the area of Agriculture sector, Health and Security sector. 

Abydeen explained that the NGIJ distributed 10,000 questionairs accros 21 local governmemt of Kogi state, he further explined that the NGIJ team met with almost all the critical stakeholders including top government officials, Security Operatives, Labour unions, traditional rulers among others and also visited some projects executed by Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration during the exercise.
The NGIJ President thanked the Kogi State Police Command and other security agencies for providing adequate security for the NGIJ team during the fact finding mission.
