Leagues of Imams holds special prayer for Governor Yahaya Bello
Groups under the aegis of leagues of Imams Kogi Central, on Saturday 21st September
2019 in Okene staged special prayers for His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to win his re-election and the sustenance of peace and security of the state.
The event, held at Ebira Central mosque Okene, was led by the Chairman of the league Imam Mohammad Jamiu Zubair the Imam of Inoziomi central Mosque, disclosed that the league of Imams were solidly behind Governor Yahaya Bello, adding that other Kogites should support the second term bid of GYB for him to bring about the desired change to make Kogi State a better place for all.
The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim who graced the occasion as the royal father of the day after prayed for a landslide victory of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello at forthcoming election,
stressed that in spite of the Prayer's prominent role in seeking divine support for the reelection project of our son, People need to come and collect their PVCs. Described the Collection of PVCs is also important thing.
He urged league of Imams to use their various Mosques preaching to help us encourage the people to come out and collect their PVCs.
Among those in attendance were all member of league of Imams in Kogi Central, Sheikh Salihu Abere the acting chief Imam of Ebiraland, Sheikh Ahmad Rufai Shuaib, Ustaz Abdulmajid of Kogi State Hajj commission, Sheikh Mohammad Awwal Idoji. Ustaz Abdullah Bin Umar, the Imam of Federal College of Education Okene, Ustaz Mohammad Jamiu Adubo the chief Imam Eika Central Mosque.
Speaking to our correspondent at the end of occasion, the vice chairman of the league Imam Kogi Central, Ustaz Abdulrahman Yakub said the prayer was organized to thank Allah for his grace on the Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
He listed renovation and remodeling some selected Mosque across the State, tackling the security challenges besetting Kogi State before he came on board, Healthcare outreach to the poor peoples anchored by his appointees among other of which to League of Imams as part of the landmark achievements of this administration that encourages us and resolved at our last week executive meeting to come up with this congregational prayer of this kind to endorsed His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for the second term bids.
Ustaz Abdulrahman Yakub added that there were also resolution that each member of the league of Imams should includes the prayer in seeking divine intervention from Almighty Allah to guide and be with His Excellency to succeed during the forthcoming November election and to guide and be with his governance after the election that the downtrodden peoples will have postive testimonies to give at end of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello's 8years in office by God's willing.
May Allah accept the prayer and grant His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello landslide victory.
